PERFECT item to build your own custom motorcycle trailer!Torsional stub axles use specially formulated "rubber" cords to cushion the turning of the inner bar to create the best suspension on the market today. This progressive torque action provides the best shock absorption, load handling and durability features that are available for all types of trailers. The independent action of each wheel reduces shock transfer and trailer sway.Includes (2) torsional stub axles with 1" straight spindles, castle nuts and cotter pins. Spindle arms are positioned at 45° downward starting angle with 2-1/2" of travel. Stub axles do not include flanges for mounting electric or hydraulic brakes. Rated 1,000 lbs. per stub, 2,000 lbs. per pair.Also included are two 5-bolt on 4-1/2 inch bolt circle hubs equipped with (2) seals, (4) inner/outer bearings, (2) Bearing buddies, (2) Bearing buddy dust caps, (2) cotter pins and (10) lug nuts. Hubs measure 4-1/4" tall with a pilot diameter of 2-1/2", a flange diameter of 5.56", with 1/2"-20 diameter studs. Hubs come equipped with pressed in races.Please note: 18.5 X 8.5 OR 20.5 X 8 "DOUGHNUT" TIRES CANNOT BE USED WITH THESE TORSIONAL AXLES. THOSE TIRES WILL NOT CLEAR AXLE ARM.
